These are not earrings for quietly entering a room. These are earrings for arriving. 😂

Sheila Tso built them as articulated cascades of Sage Kingman turquoise: tiny emerald-green stones at the ear, larger sea-green cabochons through the center, and a final three-stone fan that moves freely at the bottom. Every section is linked independently, so the turquoise actually dances when worn.

Why This Piece Matters

Chandelier earrings can easily become visually heavy, but Sheila has given this pair an unusual sense of balance. The stones gradually change in scale as the design descends, creating movement while keeping the silhouette elegant and controlled.

The Sage Kingman turquoise carries a beautiful natural range from deep forest green to brighter blue-green. Instead of forcing perfect uniformity, Sheila uses that variation to create depth—each cabochon becomes part of the composition.

Curator’s Field Observation

The articulation is what transforms these. Each tier moves separately, allowing the earrings to catch light from constantly changing angles. The larger central ovals act as anchors, while the clusters above and below create the rhythm.

They have the visual impact of serious statement earrings without becoming excessively long. At two inches, they frame the face beautifully and deliver an enormous turquoise moment in a remarkably wearable scale.

Eric’s Notes from the Field

These look like tiny chandeliers from an extremely glamorous house built somewhere in the middle of the desert—and naturally, the entire lighting system is made from Sage Kingman turquoise.

The range of green is what gets me. Some stones are deep and mossy, others drift toward turquoise blue, and together they create this incredible cascade of living color. Elegant, dramatic and just slightly feral. Perfect.
